Mark Ward's big toes are extremely long and dexterous. That's why he always played barefoot in his Meridian days, when he relied more on pedal effects. In this episode Ward is accompanied by violinist/vocalist Kelsey Sprague. Ward uses loops only for the closing song (which is why it seems to go on forever).
