Episode 29: Seaweed Jack

This Gonzaga University-spawned quartet is labelled Spokane's resident pirate-rock band, mostly because of use of an accordion on one song and chains in another -- among other nautical themes in their unique mesh of prog-blues-jazz rock. Well-known trivia fact: These guys are heavy juicers. They also get props for giving one of the best live shows in the local scene. In this interview, bassist Jack Sheehy (who BTW is NOT The Seaweed Jack -- the name has more to do with drummer Anthony Stassi) tells the infamous "rat wine" story.
