Special Edition: Johanna Kunin

Isamu Jordan / The Spokesman-Review

Seattle chanteuse Johanna Kunin is becoming well-known for her minimalist piano pop melodies, but she is currently on tour with a full band for the first time. The new band features Amanda and Victor from Point Juncture, WA — playing mostly drums and vibraphone, respectively — and Jeremy Hadley from Velella Velella on multiple instruments, but mainly guitar. Kunin is writing material for a new album and getting ready to tour Europe this winter. This set features some new songs as well as stuff from her brilliant full-length debut, “Clouds Electric.”
