Special Edition: People's Republic of Komedy

The People's Republic of Komedy is Seattle leading (if not, only) alt-comedy movement, taking stand-up comedy to non-traditional venues, treating it like indie music. The artist collective made Spokane its first road trip in this show at CenterStage. Spokane, ever the beta-test market, is also the hometown of two of the Republic’s core members, Kevin Hyder and Scott Moran. This special edition podcast features performances by Moran, Hyder, Daniel Carroll, Emmett Montgomery and Andy Haynes, who was the evening MC. It isn’t the same without being able to see them perform their material, but still, I dare you not to laugh.
