Among the details: The 24-year-old victim had gone to the store to buy milk. As he left the store, one of the attackers asked him, "What country do you think you're in?" and flicked his cigarette at the man, who is African-American. The three attackers then chased their victim across the parking lot, tackled him, and then punched and kicked him until he was unconscious. The attackers and victim had never met before. Afterward, the attackers laughed and bragged about what they'd done.
