Guv in CdA: ‘Dover Bridges all over the state’

A day after his transportation initiative suffered a big defeat in the House, Gov. Butch Otter decried the state of Idaho’s roads and bridges, and told a Coeur d’Alene Rotary Club he’s headed back to the Legislature to “ask them once again to be responsible – let’s figure out a way.” Former Lt. Gov. Jack Riggs, a member of the audience, drew laughs when he stood up and told Otter he spent some time pushing for highway repairs about 10 years ago “with about the same success.” You can read reporter Alison Boggs’ full story here at spokesman.com.
