Otter: ‘No. 1, we must not raise taxes’

“Number one, we must not raise taxes,” Gov. Butch Otter told lawmakers. “It is not our place to impose an additional economic burden on the people of Idaho who already are struggling, or to put a damper on our economic recovery.” His comments drew a round of applause.

“…or to put a damper on our economic recovery.”—yet despite this assurance I will cut into our consumer based economy by continuing to fire state employees.

He doesn’t support raising taxes this year!?!?!?!

But you can bet he will push to increase fees!
