Labrador plans fundraiser in Puerto Rico

Idaho GOP congressional hopeful Raul Labrador plans to travel to his native Puerto Rico next week to raise money for his campaign against Democratic U.S. Rep. Walt Minnick, the AP reports. A campaign flier says Puerto Rico Gov. Luis Fortuno is expected to attend a $500-per-person reception next Thursday for Labrador, who was born in the U.S. territory. Eric Labrador, a Republican who served in former Puerto Rico Gov. Pedro Rossello’s cabinet and is Labrador’s half brother, is among nine dignitaries hosting the fundraiser.

Can’t wait to hear the response for racist bigots Walt Minnick and John Foster.

Seriously, Blue? Weren’t one of the folks who jumped all over Minnick for holding a fundraiser in California? You TeaBirthers really need to get your hypocrisy straightened out.

Evidently Labrador has passed the political purity test:
    1. Obama is not American born
    2. Obama is a Muslim
    3. Obama is a socialist
    4. Nancy Pelosi is the devil incarnate
    5. Taxing millionaires is un-American
    6. Republicans can give tax cuts and balance the budget (never mind that they presided over the largest increase in federal government in our history)

Did I leave out anything, Bluesidaho?

By the way, did you think up your comments all by yourself, or is this Rush’s take on the situation??

Can you say that with a straight face, Blue?

Hey Phaedrus, I’ve missed you over at HBO - I worried you had died or moved away… please come back! The universe is out of whack without more balance against the Kage_Manns, Hmoffs, Captain_Underpants, and GDRs of the world…

Is that a spade calling a spade a spade? How would he have even known if we hadn’t pointed it out to him?

Raul’s like the bank robber who, when asked why he robbed banks, responded “that’s where the money is.” For this candidate, Puerto Rico is where the money is because it sure isn’t here for him in Idaho.

I looked for an announcement on this on his website but couldn’t find it. Is he proud of this move or not? Also does anyone think there is a quid pro quo from the pro Puerto Rican statehood lobbyist in D.C. who is organizing this? Naaah. Couldn’t be.
