Boise blogger David Frazier reports on his Boise Guardian blog that a pro-megaloads group, the “Western Legacy Alliance,” has been asked by the Idaho Secretary of State's office to cease using Idaho's official state seal in its materials, including newspaper ads that ran in the Idaho Statesman touting the big loads, to imply state endorsement. “The Seal must not be used to mistakenly convey State of Idaho approval, sponsorship or affiliation,” the secretary of state's office told the Guardian; it said the group has now indicated that it will stop using the seal.
