Senate endorses revised Idaho energy plan

The Idaho Senate has voted unanimously, 34-0, to adopt the 2012 Idaho Energy Plan as proposed by a legislative interim committee; HCR 34 previously passed the House on a 56-9 vote. The new plan updates Idaho's last energy plan from five years ago; it includes a minority report outlining measures the majority didn't approve, including adding a consumer advocate to the state's utility rate-setting process.
