Payment for the coming year on the 14 bonds currently outstanding for the state of Idaho was approved by JFAC this morning on a unanimous vote. Next year’s bond payments total $31.8 million. Rep. Darrell Bolz, R-Caldwell, noted that there are just two years left of payments on two of those bonds. Among them: “The state Capitol renovation will be paid for in two more years.”
Said Rep. Maxine Bell, R-Jerome, JFAC co-chair, “A nice feeling – thank you.”
