Conference committee to reconvene at 11:15; sine die today doubtful…

The conference committee will reconvene at 11:15, Chairman Bert Brackett just announced. “We’ll have some more discussion, we’ll take some more straw polls and then we’ll decide from there where we’re going to go,” he said. Asked if the panel is at an impasse, Brackett said, “I’m not going to call it an impasse. We have challenges.”

A few minutes ago, I asked Senate President Pro-Tem Brent Hill, R-Rexburg, if the Legislature will adjourn sine die today. “I doubt it,” he said.

UPDATE: It's getting toward noon, and the conference committee hasn't started meeting yet; all members are here except for GOP Reps. Joe Palmer and John Vander Woude.
