Eye On Boise

Senate recesses ‘til 7:30; may still sine die tonight, may not…

Senate Majority Leader Bart Davis, R-Idaho Falls, has just announced that the Senate is going to recess until 7:30 p.m., at which time it hopes to have the conference committee report and the proposed amendments to HB 312a.

“It is our intent, with your patience, to do all of that tonight,” he said. “There’s one little hiccup that we need to still consider working our way through, but we’ll run that in parallel to this. So that’s the map going forward. And hopefully before we go to bed tonight, you will go having heard a motion to adjourn sine die. That’s our target right now. The one little hiccup it is possible could bring us into next week. We hope that that’s not the case and we’ll work our best to resolve that before we come back at 7:30. So for the time being we’re going to keep our eye focused in that direction.”
