Reporting glitches delay student scores from new standardized test

The school year is all but over, but the contractor handling Idaho’s new standardized test needs an extension, writes Kevin Richert of Idaho Education News. The results from this spring’s student testing on the Idaho Standards Achievement Test by Smarter Balanced have been trickling in slowly, Richert reports; the state Department of Education acknowledges the delays, caused by a pair of reporting glitches. As a result, parents won’t find out how their children did until later in the month, and well into summer break. Richert’s full report is online here.
