Eye On Boise

It’s Ski Swap time, as 65th annual Bogus Basin swap kicks off tonight…

If you’ve got ski or snowboard gear to sell or you’re looking to buy, you’re in luck – it’s Ski Swap weekend in Boise. The 65th annual Ski Swap sponsored by the Bogus Basin Ski Education Foundation, formerly the Bogus Basin Ski Racing Alliance, opens its doors at 5 p.m. today at Expo Idaho. It’s open ‘til 10 p.m. tonight; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.

The swap benefits kids’ programs at non-profit Bogus Basin; admission is $3, or on Sunday, free with a canned food donation for the Boise Rescue Mission. In addition to tons of winter sports gear, accessories and clothing, both new and used, the swap also features displays from ski areas, skiing-related clubs and organizations and more, and tonight, it’ll also have live music from “Asphalt Buffet.” Sellers have until 5 p.m. on Sunday to pick up any unsold items; there’s more info here.
