Idaho unemployment rate falls to 4%
Idaho’s unemployment rate fell to 4 percent in October, as the seasonally adjusted rate dropped two-tenths of a percent. Job growth for the month was the strongest it’s been in a decade, the Idaho Department of Labor reports. The national unemployment rate for the month was 5 percent.
The department reports that compared to the same month a year earlier, Idaho had an increase of 25,000 jobs, spread across almost all industry sectors with particularly strong growth in construction, education, health care and manufacturing.
