August state tax revenues beat forecasts
Idaho state tax revenues in August came in 3.4 percent above forecasts, largely due to strong collections in individual income and sales taxes, the two largest categories of state taxes. The state’s tax revenues for the month were 6.4 percent higher than the previous August. That puts total revenues for the fiscal year to date, which started July 1, at 1.4 percent above forecasts and 6.3 percent over last year.
