Boise sets ‘Kristin’s Gold Games’ celebration for Aug. 28

The city of Boise has set “Kristin’s Gold Games – A Community Celebration” for Sunday Aug. 28 from 1-4 p.m. at Municipal Park, to welcome home and celebrate local three-time Olympic gold medal cyclist Kristin Armstrong. The mayor’s office announced today that the celebration will be a “family-friendly event” recognizing Armstrong’s accomplishments as a community leader and athlete, at which participants can meet the medalist; it also will feature a variety of games, activities, music and food for attendees of all ages.

Municipal Park is located at 500 S. Walnut Street in Boise.
