It appears that House committee chairmanships are going through some shuffling for the coming year. Rep. Christy Perry, R-Nampa, will chair the Local Government Committee. Rep. Lynn Luker, R-Boise, who formerly chaired that panel, will chair the House Judiciary & Rules Committee, which was formerly chaired by Rep. Rich Wills, who lost his seat in the election. Rep. Robert Anderst, R-Nampa, will take over chairmanship of the Ways & Means Committee, previously chaired by Perry.

The House Agriculture Committee will be chaired by Rep. Judy Boyle, R-Midvale. Former Ag Chairman Ken Andrus retired.
