Former Sen. Tim Corder no longer working for schools Supt. Ybarra
Former state Sen. Tim Corder, special assistant to Superintendent Sherri Ybarra, is no longer with the State Department of Education, Idaho Public TV reporter Melissa Davlin reports today on her “Idaho Reports” blog. Corder has been a key aide to Ybarra since she took office and worked on her campaign; he’s often been involved in presenting bills on her behalf to lawmakers. State Department of Education spokesman Jeff Church confirmed that Corder no longer worked for the department, but declined to comment further.
Corder told Davlin he would remember his time at the department fondly. “It was a grand experience,” he said. You can read Davlin’s full post here.
