Conformity bill passes House, 54-16

Rep. Janet Trujillo, R-Idaho Falls, told the House, “I also took an oath to uphold the Constitution of the state of Idaho and the Constitution of the United States is the supreme law of the land.” The House then voted 54-16 to pass HB 425, the tax conformity bill, sending it to the Senate side.

The 16 "no" votes were from Reps. Batt, Boyle, Chew, Dixon, Gannon, Jordan, King, Kloc, McCrostie, McMillan, Nate, Nye, Rubel(Green), Scott, Shepherd and Sims. That's eight Republicans and eight Democrats.
