Crapo: ‘Last night, voters sent a message’

Idaho Sen. Mike Crapo issued this statement on the election results:

“I express my sincere thanks to the people of Idaho for their trust in re-electing me to represent their values in Washington.  Additionally, voters have elected Donald Trump as our next president and I congratulate him on his win.  Last night, voters sent a message by electing a Republican president and maintaining Republican majorities in the Senate and House.  That message is that voters are looking for leadership that results in limited government, lower taxes, and a free market economy. I remain confident that as we exercise a peaceful transition of power, we will find common ground on many issues to move our country forward.”
