Raul Labrador’s North Idaho stop on his three-day tour of the state to launch his 2018 gubernatorial campaign drew about 80 people Wednesday at the American Legion Hall in Post Falls, most of them veterans and senior citizens, writes S-R reporter Abby Lynes. Labrador called for expanding school choice, lowering tax rates and eliminating tax loopholes, similar to his message a day earlier in Boise.

The crowd in Post Falls was about the same size as the one that gathered in the backyard of Labrador’s in-laws for his Boise announcement; you can read Lynes’ full report here. Today, Labrador has a similar campaign kickoff event scheduled in Idaho Falls.
