Tonight’s “Idaho Reports” on Idaho Public Television includes new U.S. Energy Secretary Rick Perry’s first visit to the Idaho National Laboratory in eastern Idaho; flooding problems around the state, and more. On the pundits panel, I join Marty Peterson, former U.S. Attorney for Idaho Wendy Olson, Jim Weatherby and co-host Melissa Davlin to discuss big changes at the U.S. Department of Justice; the fallout from President Trump’s firing of FBI Director Jim Comey; the balance of power between the executive and legislative branches; and the week’s big Idaho political developments.

“Idaho Reports” airs at 8 p.m. Fridays on Idaho Public Television; after it airs, you can watch it here online any time. It also re-airs Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Mountain time, 9:30 Pacific.
