On tonight’s “Idaho Reports” on Idaho Public Television, co-host Melissa Davlin interviews BSU professors Justin Vaughn and John Freemuth about federal issues from Craters of the Moon to the federal budget and debt ceiling; and producer Seth Ogilvie speaks with Idaho Education News reporter Kevin Richert on education issues facing the state, from science standards to U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos.

On the pundits panel, I join state Jim Weatherby, Bill Manny, and co-hosts Davlin and Aaron Kunz to discuss the political scene, the latest developments, and what’s facing Idaho voters as we move into the 2018 election campaign. This is the final “Idaho Reports” program of the season, before the show returns in the fall.

“Idaho Reports” airs at 8 p.m. Fridays on Idaho Public Television; after it airs, you can watch it here online any time. It also re-airs Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Mountain time, 9:30 Pacific.
