Tonight’s “Idaho Reports” on Idaho Public Television includes a report on the struggle of one small Idaho community, Mackay, to provide for public safety and the implications of that; a report on the news from today’s AP Legislative Preview; and a panel of lobbyists, including Seth Grigg of the Idaho Association of Counties, Kathy Griesmyer of the ACLU, and Brian Whitlock of the Idaho Hospital Association, talking about the outlook for the upcoming legislative session.

On the pundits panel, I join host Melissa Davlin, Clark Corbin of Idaho Education News, and Bill Spence of the Lewiston Tribune to talk about what we’re seeing and what’s to come. “Idaho Reports” airs at 8 p.m. Fridays on Idaho Public Television; after it airs, you can watch it here online any time. It also re-airs Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Mountain time, 9:30 Pacific.
