Our vagabond reaches Vilnius…

Good morning, Netizens...

As some of you know, Mhibbs is in Eastern Europe playing the role of the Great Gadabout and I received this report from him this morning:

Well here I am in scenic, downtown Vilnius. Just back from a short walking

tour of the area. You've got to like a place that has a cobblestone town

center of its capitol city and holds outdoor weddings in the main square.

Good sidewalk cafes for people watching although the price of coffee is going

to put me in the poorhouse. Minimum of $2 for a small cup of espresso. I'll

do a tour of the city on the morrow and will give a report as time allows.

Marty..

For those of you who do not know where Lithuania is, it is bordered by Latvia (Latvija), Poland (Polska) and Russia in far-eastern Europe and has a vibrant incredible history. Many of the buildings, churches and residences built in the 1300-1400's still exist today. I am hopeful that Marty will bring back some pictures of Vilnius on his laptop and share the wealth he is enjoying.
