Hallelujah Chorus at Nordstroms…

Good morning, Netizens…

Earlier this month, I commented upon the Canadian flash mob that performed Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus and, at the time, I pondered whether anyone in the United States would perhaps pick the idea up and perhaps honor the Christmas Season by a similar performance, but I had little faith. Well, Seattle’s Nordstrom and the Seattle Symphony had a go at it, and with good results.

In an event organized by the Seattle Symphony and Nordstrom, hundreds of singers joined in a flash mob performance of Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus” at the downtown Seattle Nordstrom on Saturday, December 11, 2010.
