As Richard noted yesterday, sometimes it is difficult to hold a factual or even cogent discussion of National Politics or the economy based upon a David Horsey cartoon. Today's cartoon is a generalization of opinion of President Obama that shows neither Left nor Right with absolute clarity, but is painted with a broad brush, missing the impact of public opinion from either Left nor Right.

This is ostensibly an attempt to portray President Obama as viewed from both sides of the political spectrum, but missing some key points, including the state of our economy and how each side perceives it to be. As Richard aptly pointed out, there are few people qualified to discuss that issue; hence it gets overlooked.

One question remains to be seen: is our economy heading for the tank again? That seems a fair question whether viewed from the Left or the Right.
