The U.S. Weather Bureau has recently, as of 3:30 AM this morning, put a severe thunderstorm warning around Spokane. Here is the official weather warning:

* AT 332 AM PDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN
EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING
FROM CRESTON TO 7 MILES SOUTH OF DAVENPORT TO 7 MILES NORTH OF
SPRAGUE TO EWEN...OR ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 48 MILES NORTH OF
RITZVILLE TO 25 MILES WEST OF CHENEY TO 18 MILES WEST OF CHENEY TO
27 MILES EAST OF RITZVILLE...AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH.
