Daily Tip #352 As you spend your weekends raking leaves, consider alternative ways to take care of your fall "trash". Composting your leaves or finding others who would or could compost them is a great option. Additionally, if you must get rid of them try not to use plastic bags, even the ones that are advertised as biodegradable. With exposure to sunlight, the will break down, but in the dark depths of landfills, degradation takes place very slowly.
