Columbia River Toxics Reduction Watershed Workshop

Though it's short notice, and it's a bit of a drive (to Wenatchee), we'd like to share with you a great opportunity to learn more about toxics in the Upper Columbia, and even about PCB's in the Spokane River.  So if you're interested in learning more about the serious health problems associated with pollution in YOUR river, or just looking for an excuse to visit one of the most beatiful places in the state of Washington, check out The Columbia River Toxics Reduction Watershed Workshop this coming up Wednesday (8/12) in Wenatchee. 
The workshop will take place in the Chelan Public Utility District Auditorium (327 N. Wenatchee Ave) from 9 to 4 (check-in at 8:30) and registration is FREE.  Register HERE. 

Purpose of Workshop:
     Exchange information on toxics reduction efforts in the Columbia River Basin
     Exchange information with local watershed groups, municipalities, and others on toxics reduction work efforts and concerns
