Dana Lyons concert

After a fine morning at the Spokane River Clean-Up, head to the ROW Adventure Warehouse at 17 W. Main at 7pm for a benefit show featuring environmental singer/songrwiter Dana Lyons. He is known for the song "Cows With Guns" and for grooming and maintaining an awesome moustache.

The fundraiser is put on by the 3rd Legislative District Democrats and there should be candidates there to greet folks and discuss environmental issues. A portion of the proceeds and all donations beyond the $12 ticket price will go the national program of the Waterkeepers Alliance that is coordinating the relief effort of six regional Waterkeeper/Riverkeeper Alliance organizations in the Gulf of Mexico in response to the oil spill.
