Linwood Elementary School students are a step closer to a patent. The 10 fourth-, fifth- and sixth-grade students who created a binder that holds an iPad behind protective plastic, officially called "binders with computing-device attachments," have moved forward with an official filing last week with the U.S. Patent and Trademark office.
