Ham on Regal takes the stage

Ham on Regal, the long-running fundraiser starring Ferris High School parents, begins its regular run Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. after debuting at a Sunday matinee.

The musical comedy is written, choreographed and performed by members of the Ferris PTG (parent-teacher group) each year. The 2016 show is Ham on Regal’s 53rd annual production. Since its inception in 1963, Ham on Regal shows have raised more than $1.5 million for Ferris programs.

The show is at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, with an additional 1:30 p.m. matinee on Saturday. Tickets are $9 for evening performances and $7 for the matinee. They’re available from any cast member, or at Round Table Pizza, 4510 S. Regal; 2nd Look Books in the Lincoln Heights Shopping Center; at Rosauers, 2610 E. 29th Avenue; and at the Ferris business office on the corner of 37th Avenue and Ray Street.
