Rising Religious Left Trying to Sheep Steal?

Many of the evangelicals who vote to support the conservative/Republican coalition are not political. They don’t understand, and don’t really want to understand, the philosophical basis of their political conservatism. They tend to follow some basic issues, such as abortion and gay rights. However, they are vulnerable to seduction from the evangelical/ecclesiastical left. The change of only a few hundred thousand votes nationwide could change the economic, social, political, and foreign policy direction of the United States. This is where the evangelical/ecclesiastical left is attempting to go! They have launched a full-scale effort to swing many “mushy” evangelicals away from conservatism. If they can’t get these “soft” conservatives to vote their way, they at least hope to get them to stay home from the polls.
