As a man to whom the Democratic party could appeal to, I find them on a national scale to be utterly opposed to my values. I see them as the party of higher taxes, against small business, devaluing the role of the father in the home, fickle support of the military, naive on foreign affairs, anti-religion, and out to destroy the 2nd Amendment. I recognize that the Dems here locally may not toe that line, but in DC they certainly do. That's where the marching orders come from.

DFO: As Rush might say, mega-dittos. I find Mike Kennedy/Mary Lou Shepherd/the late Jim Stoicheff's brand of Democrat very appealing. Pelosi, Reid, Kennedy, Dean and the rest of the usual national suspects turn my stomach as I suspect they do most Idahoans.
