Huckleberries Local AM Headlines -- 12/19/05

*Hession likely to be appointed mayor today: He says he wants to share ideas with staff, reduce meetings/Mike Prager, Spokesman-Review -- JBelle/The Kan EWA provides a superb commentary on Spokane's new mayor-to-be here.

*Zags aren't looking past Eagles: Despite 19-game winning streak in series, GU coach Few knows Eastern still a dangerous foe/Steve Bergum, Spokesman-Review -- I ain't biting. Zags by 15.

*Fire rips through CdA strip mall: Officials suspect heat tape around plumbing caused blaze/Spokesman-Review -- I rarely stopped to purcase anything at those shops or to get gas at the 7-11. But it's eery seeing that busy corner burned out.

*Police link teens to vandalism incidents/Spokesman-Review -- The insurance company will pay for the damages, and these creeps will promise never to be bad again -- and they'll receive a little time in juvie and work release and be back out on the streets again in no time.

*Suit filed over deadly collision: Complaint seeks damages from driver, BF tavern/Keith Kinnaird, Bonner County Daily Bee -- This should serve as a warning to bars to be more careful re: who they allow to continue to drink.
