Another Huckleberry Friend …

Put your hands together for Mike Clifford/Heartland Outdoorsman, of Illinois, another new "Friends of Huckleberries" who runs a swell outdoors forum here and an equally good blog here. You've seen MikeC crop up in the "comments" section lately. I'll let him explain his site:

The Heartland Outdoorsman is a comprehensive website devoted to fishing, hunting, camping, travel and photography in an "Outdoors Magazine" online format. We offer our members free Blog space, photo hosting and numerous other perks that are found in very few online communities at no cost. We've been operating from this domain for 3 years. We are unique in our ability to bring together so many diverse usergroups in one complete package. If a member doesn't care for fishing and hunting, for example...they can choose to post to a great number of various photography categories or participate in some fascinating wildlife discussions. As well, we cover the daily news from the serious to the wacky, and relegate any political ramblings to a forum of it's own as well.

HBO met MikeC via the ongoing 2005 Best Outdoors Blog contest in which commenters/blurkers here supported Steve Remington/BlackBearBlog of Maine in style. 'Tis nice that Cyberspace knows no boundaries. Welcome, Mike.
