Peanut Gallery — Helping Shasta Groene

I've followed the csae of Dylan and Shasta from the very beginning of this terrible nightmare. I am so deeply saddened at the tragic finding of Dylan. I have two children a boy and a girl 9 and 8 years old. I've been so deeply moved by this and would like to do something to help the family. I just don't know what I could do. Is there any type of fund set up or even an address where the children's father could receive cards of support and sympathy? I would like to become involved in changing the laws so that this type of disgusting crime against our children will have no place in our society. I am disgusted with our judicial system. This creature should never been on the streets! Until the American people demand change, change will not come and our children are vulnerable. Please send me in a direction here so that I can channel my frustration over this crime in the appropriate manner. I hope I can do something to help.

DFO: Excellent question, Lisa. The best thing anyone can do at the moment is to contribute to the trust funds set up in Shasta's name at the U.S. Bank's Coeur d'Alene branches or at Inland Northwest Bank in Post Falls or Coeur d'Alene -- that, and if you're religious, pray for this little girl's recovery from this nightmare.
