Huckleberries Online

A DVD Review: “Fahrenheit 9/11”

Finally saw Fahrenheit 911 last night. I wish
I had seen it earlier, but I tried to avoid it when it came out and when my Liberal friends were urging me to take a look. My reasoning was that I don't like propoganda films, right or left. Anyway, I was let down. The film is highly disjointed and cobbled together. Moore never made his case. He skips from topic to topic. He holds the nail but he never raises the hammer and pounds it in. I believe the reason is that he's just grasping at straws throughout the film, saying things he knows the lefties will jump at, but not going far enough to convince anyone who hasn't made up their mind. Sad, really. Glad I didn't pay money to see it.

Dang

Feedback: I totally agree with you on your review. Moore's masterpiece remains Bowling for Columbine...he nailed the sociology of fear. The Islamofascists may be a death cult but we are a fear cult -- Bearable Bob.
