Peanut Gallery — McEuen Field Plot?

re: library location

Interesting that one of the points (in locating the library downtown) is that half the city's population is within a mile of the site. Yet a great chunk of the lake is also within a mile of the site, a spot where no one will live ever. Moving the library up north of I90 would have meant that nearly 100 percent of the city's population would be within 1 mile of the site.

The reason I originally asked this question is that there are many who are grousing that the Library's location is part of a future plot again McEuen field.

Dang

DFO: I'm growing increasingly uneasy that the city will kick children's recreation off McEuen Field and turn it over to events for out-of-towners.
