Huckleberries Online

Inside Huckleberries — 6/7/05

*Commenter Doug Hughes raises some interesting questions about the separation between news and opinion at the SR in today's "News Is A Conversation" critique. You should check in on the ongoing constructive criticism leveled at the SR online by Doug, Marianne Love and others here.
...
*Another SR must-read for news junkies is notes from our Daily Briefing, compiled by blogmeister Ken Paulman, here.
...
*Kootenai Valley News Press picked up my Tombstone Generator for the Boundary County Property Owners Association to illustrate its followup news story about the levy passage here.

*Finally, got the blog numbers that have been missing since Thursday. I missed by 3 pageviews of scoring three days with 5000 or more. Tuesday through Thursday: 4997, 5033 and 5118. Total for the week was a little off because of the three-day Memorial Day weekend: 26109. But the month of May set another record with 122,780 pageviews for a daily average of 3961. Thank you for checking in.
