Quick Review: Summer Theatre Opener
2 of 3 stars from CDA Family Oliveria ... Singing fabulous, but you have to like Rodgers & Hammerstein. This is no Smokey Joe's Cafe. Voices: Top Notch. Piano Playing: Top Notch. Choreography: Minimal. Set Design: So-so. Male vocalists Robbie French and Jadd Davis are locals with superb voices. Dunno where the young women were from. But they could deliver notes, too. Worth the price of admission. BTW, Christopher Moll and Frank Whatshisname aren't here this summer. But new young talent looks exciting.
