SR Morning Headlines (3/14/05)

*Drug court investigation broadened: Kootenai County commissioners request program's internal correspondence/Erica Curless, SR -- There's blood in the water, and the shark's are circling. Prosecutor Bill Douglas (pictured above releasing the findings in the December police shooting of a Hayden man) denies any personal impropriety and laughs at the talk of his possible resignation. Keep your eyes on this one.

*Few furious with committee for not selecting Gonzaga's women's team/John Blanchette, SR -- You can always count on the NCAA selection committee to have its head where the sun don't shine when it comes to Inland Northwest teams. Ask Eastern Washington. Now, Gonzaga's gals.

*Search for Inner Zag starts with the right outfit/Jamie Neely and Rebecca Nappi, SR -- Two of my favorite co-workers at the office. But I didn't know there was a such thing as an "inner Zag" and I've never heard shopping uttered in the same breath as March Madness and Zag b-ball.

*Home sweet home: Valley soldier always reported for dad duty/Tom Lutey, SR -- Another hero comes back in one piece.

*Local clinic, dentists try to ease area's pain: Vouchers to provide low-cost dental treatment/Cynthia Taggart, SR -- Tags does what she does best -- shines a spotlight on those who are making a difference in the area by helping the less fortunate get by.
