St. Paddy’s Quick Fix 6

Remember Bo Gritz (shown in 1992 file photo talking to reporters during Ruby Ridge standoff), the former Green Beret who helped talk Randy Weaver down from the mountain back when? Well, he's ba-a-a-ack. This time, he's trying to make a citizens arrest of Terry Schiavo's husband and the judge who might order her feeding tubes pulled. You know what they say about a broken clock? This guy might be a crackpot, but he's right occasionally. For the whole story, click here. (Meanwhile, Congress is getting involved in the case here, and money is evaporating from Terri's bank account here.)

1. Political 'Toon Fix: Paul Nowak (Illegal aliens), Timothy Kelly (The French), and Robert Airail (Signs of spring).

2. Humor Fix: There's a congressional committee now investigating steroid use in Major League Baseball and so far they have subpoenaed a bunch of folks to testify about the use of steroids — Jason Giambi, subpoenaed; Sammy Sosa, subpoenaed; Curt Schilling, subpoenaed; Janet Reno, subpoenaed — David Letterman.

3. My Way Fix: This Day in History here, Today's Birthdays here, and Positive Quote here.

4. Top of the News Fix: Congress chides baseball over steroids here, Caviezel recommends tamer 'Passion' here, Atkins diet company falling on lean times here, Sharks keep beach empty again here, and Oil hits new high of $57+ here.

5. ANWR Fix: The National Center for Policy Analysis sez the Senate vote to approve drilling in the Arctic National Wilderness Region is a big step toward energy independence here.

6. In My Humble Opinion Fix: Fred Kaplan/Slate (Paul Wolfowitz), Dick Morris/NY Post (Schwarzenegger revolution), Andrew McCarthy/National Review (Terri Schiavo), Catherine Seipp/Cathy's World (Maureen Dowd ad nauseum), and Wesley Pruden/Washington Times (Condi Rice).
