Huckleberries Online

Inside Huckleberries (3/18/05)

5:47 p.m. Barry Rosenberg of the KEA told me today in the office that he's considering my request to start a blog. I've been dying to get one of you local greenies blogging. The blogosphere is where it's at, folks. And I desperately need a green voice on my blogroll.

5:13 p.m. Blog numbers through midweek: 3226 Monday, 3178 Tuesday and 2841 Wednesday. The number on Thursday should be around 3000, too. Thanks for your support.

3:30 p.m. I discovered the identity of one of Huckleberries anonymous bloggers via a mutual friend, which is going to make postings from Arpie more enjoyable in the future. You're secret's safe with me. Right, Bard?

1:30 p.m. Another expatriate who once lived in Spokane has added a link to Huckleberries on his blog. Texan Rich Glasgow does the honors this time via his blog, Is It Rich, here. (Note to bloggers: the best way to show your appreciation for another blog is to add a link to it on your blogrolls.)

11:12 p.m. Cis sez I may have been too hasty: I don't know Dave, I thought the 3 did a great job and it was late at night. One could jump in any time they wanted to. I did twice. Once about the subject and once not. They didn't seem to be bothered by it and I wasn't offended by them not remarking on it. They had a lot better subject going. And I enjoyed reading. Penalty: 5 yards against Blogmeister?

8:30 p.m. Caution: Any Mouse, Side Note and Mike Kennedy tangled for quite awhile last night re: abortion. It was entertaining in that two Catholics were scrapping and that it was a three-way. But it dominated the blog for quite awhile. Dunno if others were chased off. Boys, you gotta remember that old hippie lament: Don't bogart the blog, my friends; pass it over to others again. Status: Minor violation. BTW, fueled by the three-way debate and the nationality Q, Huckleberries got a record 151 comments Thursday.

8:29 p.m. We had a dyne-oh!-discussion about our nationalities on St. Patrick's Day yesterday. If you missed it, you can read all about it here.
