Will Avista Follow Suit?

Spotted today in uptown CDA, gas for $2.24 a gallon; the news says we’re back to “pre-Katrina” levels. I wonder, then, if Avista will back off its proposed rate increases correspondingly, seeing as how things aren’t as expensive as they were, say, a month ago. I suppose if utility rates get too high, and if gas prices continue to go down, one could just fill up a gas can, take it home, and find a way to heat the house with THAT fuel. And if the house catches fire, well, while it’s burning, you’ll be warm…for a while!
