Issue: Brothers sentenced in UI murder: Men get eight to 20 years for shooting football player/John Craig, Spokesman-Review
DFO: Dunno what's more reprehensible -- this senseless, cold-blooded killing of promising UI athlete Eric McMillan (pictured), or the senseless, clueless sentence handed down by the judge or the arrogant request from defense attorneys for even less fixed time. Eight years fixed for premeditated murder of a young man? The Wells brothers should have received the gallows or life without possibility of parole. Our justice system is broken.
Question: What do you think of Judge John Bradbury's slap on the wrist for Eric McMillan's murderers?
