Huckleberries Online

Wild Card/Happy Birthday Sunday -- 11/20/05

My mother reminded me Saturday that I was born at 3:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, Nov. 20, 1949 -- all 9 pounds 6 ounces of me. Both brothers were bigger at birth. My father and my future godfather slept in the car in the St. Joseph's Hospital parking lot/Stockton, Calif., while waiting for me. Dad had enough time to get a first peek at me and then return to the dairy to milk cows. Had he gotten back to the hospital in time, I would have been named Franklin Simas Oliveria Jr. But Mom tagged me with David Franklin instead. If you have any good tales about your birth, feel free to share them. Otherwise, use this Wild Card as you wish. You'll find some questions and the Monday Huckleberries below ...
